NEKO CASE: FOX CONFESSOR BRINGS THE FLOOD (ANTI)

I'm not going to lie to you, I LOVE NEKO CASE.
It seems everytime she opens that mouth of hers - either solo or with THE NEW PORNOGRAPHERS, out pours something wonderful, and I finally picked up my copy of her latest CD, Fox Confessor Brings The Flood (Anti). It's gorgeous - BUY IT, no hesitation. Neko has that booming voice that has the classic country richness of PATSY CLINE - and in a world of Gretchen Wilsons and Carrie Underwoods, that's pretty amazing.

Neko also should get credit for the full sounding production on this record, which she did down in Tucson, Arizona with help from the GIANT SAND/CALEXICO posse. The track, 'STAR WITNESS' I have been playing on repeat for days.
